Hi, I’m Sonali Kosrabe, and I’ve always had a passion for technology and building things online. I worked as an eCommerce developer, specifically with Magento, where I dedicated myself to delivering the best results for my clients. Hardworking and committed, I always took pride in my work.

But life doesn’t always go as planned. One day, I was made redundant from my job. At first, it was hard to accept, but I soon realized it gave me something valuable—time. Time to reflect, explore, and reconnect with myself. During this period, I stumbled upon something unexpected: macramé. I’d never thought of myself as an artist, but macramé opened up a new side of me. I started crafting intricate, beautiful pieces, and it felt so fulfilling.

Eventually, I found a new job and threw myself back into work. Sadly, that meant leaving my macramé hobby behind. But as life would have it, I was made redundant again. This time, instead of seeing it as a setback, I returned to my macramé, and it became a source of joy. I made more and more products until I had a stockpile. That’s when I had an idea—why not build my own eCommerce platform to sell these handmade creations?

Using my tech skills, I set up a platform and started selling my macramé pieces online. To my surprise, people bought them! Every sale gave me a little more hope, pushing me to create more.

Now, I’m running my own business, combining my love for tech and art, and it feels like I’m finally building something that’s truly mine.
